Should you sell farm equipment from your location or an auction site? Here are your options

When you’re thinking about selling agriculture equipment, one of the biggest decisions to make is where to sell from – your location or an auction site.

It might depend on the size of your consignment. If you’re selling the entire operation, going through a complete dispersal, including property, it will make more sense to have the sale from your farm, creating a big event and selling everything in one fell swoop.

If you have a select number of items to sell, an auction site event could be the better way to go. That way, your assets get included in a big auction event with a large buyer base looking for equipment similar to yours. Here’s a further breakdown of the benefits of both, and which could be your best option.
