With more than 28,000 lots sold across EMEA and APAC in Q2, the company heads into a full September auction calendar, with inspection-backed listings and support from payment through to delivery.<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ritchie Bros., the world’s leading auctioneer of heavy equipment, launches Super September campaign<\/strong> – a month of auctions across EMEA and APAC. The calendar gives buyers one of the year’s largest and most varied selections of used equipment. Spanning construction, agricultural and transport assets, the calendar gives buyers more opportunities to find the machines they need and the operational support to buy them with confidence, wherever they are in the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Demand heading into Super September is strong<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

In APAC, momentum was sharp: volumes climbed 53% year on year<\/strong> to more than 8,000 lots, attracting over 9,000 bidders<\/strong> and more than 3,000 buyers<\/strong>, led by Australia, New Zealand, Japan and the United States.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Construction and industrial equipment remained the engine of that activity, with almost 7,000 lots sold in APAC, a rise of 42%<\/strong>. Crawler excavators, wheel loaders and articulated dump trucks topped the tables in APAC. The standout story, however, was transport in APAC<\/strong>, where volumes more than tripled year on year to almost 1,200 lots, bidder numbers rose 148%<\/strong> and buyer numbers grew by almost a fifth<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Buyers are telling us the same thing in every market: they want choice, but they also want certainty,” says Fergus Garrett, Regional Operations Manager for Germany and Spain at Ritchie Bros<\/strong>. “Super September delivers both.
