Mike Vail has been a Ritchie Bros. customer since the 1990s, with his equipment attracting a lot of buyer attention because of his company’s meticulous maintenance program.

“I could have tried to sell the equipment myself, but with Ritchie Bros. it’s all done in one auction,” said Mike Vail. “When I sell with Ritchie Bros., they deal with all customer questions so I can focus on my business.”

For more than three decades, Mike Vail Trucking Ltd., a family-operated trucking business based in Alberta, has been providing superior equipment and customer service to construction, aggregate, oil and gas, energy, and environmental clients.

The company regularly sells its surplus equipment through Ritchie Bros.’ April Edmonton auction.

Mike Vail Trucking sold 18 items in the April 24 – 28, 2023 event, including two 2014 Peterbilt 367 6×4 dump trucks that sold for CA$185,000 each and two 2015 T800 6×4 dump trucks that sold for CA$177,500 each.
