What are the main cities/ areas you are covering?
My main area of focus will be Central & Western Kansas.
What is your background?
I have been in the auction industry for many years combined with a strong background in the transportation arena. Growing up on a farm in Southwest Nebraska, I understand the needs of this area and am glad to be back.
How did you get involved in this business?
I started in the auction business when I was 17 years old. I have been a manager at several companies across the United States focusing my career on equipment and transportation assets. I have experience with live auctions, as well as extensive knowledge of the online discipline.
What is your key to being successful with customers in this industry?
The key to being successful is developing a strong partnership built of trust and open communication. I truly believe it’s a great honor when someone has confidence in me to assist them in disposing of assets, whether it be a single item or a complete dispersal. I was told a long time ago, when we are conducting a retirement auction, “You will sell in a day what it took a lifetime to acquire” and I am always humbled when someone places that level of trust in me.

What are the main cities/ areas you are covering?
I serve the Northeast Kansas area, Kansas City, Topeka, and Manhattan and live in Lawrence. This smaller territory allows me to spend more time with my customer base. I think this better serves the customers in the area and will give me a chance to better know them.
What is your background?
With over 25 years of experience in the construction industry, I have gained diverse expertise in various aspects of the field. This experience serves not only me with a better understanding of the equipment, but my customers as well.
How did you get involved in this business?
I worked for Murphy Tractor for 10 years and learned lot. Ever since I have done nothing but expand my knowledge of equipment, value, and finance. This makes me a more rounded, better equipped Territory Manager, and I can better serve my customers and help teammates as well.
What is your key to being successful with customers in this industry?
Pick a good company and stay with your customers and all will be good. This mantra has served me well in this business. I have nearly 10 years of experience in the auction business, and I can only hope my years of service will serve my customers well and allow me to help them in any way.
