Over 3,000 bidders from over 30 countries participated in the complete dispersal for the Highway Equipment Company, delivering great results for the consignor.
Since 1933, Pennsylvania-based Highway Equipment Co. has been a leading provider of highway, construction, oil and gas, mining, quarry and industrial material handling equipment until it closed operations in September 2024.
The January 23 complete dispersal unreserved auction featured over 2,700 items primarily located in North East, MD, Pittsburgh, and Raleigh NC. Bidders from across 30 different US states and territories competed in the auction, as Ritchie Bros. generated a wide audience of domestic and international buyers for the sale.
