Getting transportation quotes on rbauction.com just got easier for buyers

At Ritchie Bros., we’re always looking for ways to make your buying experience faster, easier, and more transparent.

That’s why we’re excited to introduce a new feature in Digital Checkout (U.S. only) — the ability to request transportation quotes for your purchases directly from our trusted partner, VeriTread. Here’s why it matters:

• Save time — no need to call around for transport options.
• Get transparency — clear, item-specific quotes delivered straight to you.
• Stay flexible — decide later if you want to handle transportation yourself.

Transportation quotes in three easy steps

While you’re checking out, you’ll see a new step where you can:

1. Choose how you want to transport your items — either self-pickup or request quotes through VeriTread.
2. Request transportation quotes per item — one quote will be generated for each item on your invoice, tailored to your specified destination.
3. Receive quotes by email — quotes are sent directly to your inbox, making it simple to review and decide. Accept the quote or decline it – you’re in control!

Important info about transportation quotes

• Quotes are not binding — you can change your mind or cancel your request anytime.
• Transportation costs will not appear on your Ritchie Bros. invoice. You’ll settle those costs directly with VeriTread.
• You can always update your transportation preferences from your Purchase History page.

Ready to try this new feature?

Next time you use our Digital Checkout, look for the new transportation quote step and see how easy it is to arrange shipping for your items.
