Online Timed Auctions – convenience for buyers equals great returns for sellers

Our automated online Timed Auctions offer another easy, convenient way to sell, and this system has exploded in popularity in the last few years with both our sellers and buyers. And we sell tens of thousands of items each year through this industry-leading platform – everything from farming, construction and transportation equipment to attachments, consumer goods, real estate and more.

People can easily bid on items via our website or from a mobile device, and with bidding open for several days and choice of ways to bid, assets sold via this platform get more competing bids, which means better returns for sellers.

What is an online Timed Auction?

Timed Auctions are an automated online auction system with no auctioneer. Bidding opens a few days before the auction date and closes at staggered times during the auction. Bidders can place a maximum bid (i.e. the most they want to spend) and let the system bid for them, that way they don’t have to be online during the auction in order to participate. And they can also place bids manually if they prefer. Check out the video below for a demo of how the system works.

Timed Auctions offer ease and convenience to bidders – and sellers benefit

One of the keys to successful selling is to make the process as easy as possible for buyers – from getting the info they need and inspecting assets to placing bids. And that translates to benefits for sellers too:

Longer bidding window

Bidding is open for 5 days so your items get more competing bids, which means better returns for you.

More time to bid

When time is running out on an item, any new bids placed will cause additional time to be added, so your item gets more bids.

Choice of ways to bid

Quick Bid (placing bids manually) and Max Bidding (automated) options allows buyers to easily place higher bids to win your item(s).

Convenient storage

Timed Auctions allow you to sell your assets from our secure auction sites where bidders can test and inspect, saving you time and hassle.
