360-degree inspection videos available now!

Designed to build buyer confidence

At Ritchie Bros. we try to provide our customers all the info they need to make confident buying decisions.

Most of our customers start their buying experience online, searching for items and narrowing down which piece is right for their business. To help, Ritchie Bros. has long provided detailed equipment information, with dozens of high-resolution photos so you can zoom in to inspect items virtually. This year, we are going further, with 360-degree videos for many of the items we sell.

“Buyers have shown us repeatedly that large quantities of high-resolution photos increase their confidence in the equipment they are buying,” said Matt Ackley, Chief Marketing Officer. “With 360-degree videos we offer a better way to analyze equipment, with complete coverage of the exterior, panoramic views of the undercarriage and interior cabin, and high-resolution photos of key equipment features.”

But don’t just take our word for it. Here are some early comments we’ve received from customers about our new 360-degree video inspection technology:

• “Wow! This takes still pictures and goes 100% more because there is no part of the truck that you really can’t see. It’s incredible!”
• “I don’t have to look at every machine in the yard, and I can narrow down what to look at.”
• “Any option to view a wider range of details on an item definitely increases confidence in the appraisal online. This is good for buyers and sellers.”
