Buy Now is here: Get the equipment you need at a set price

IronPlanet’s Buy Now inventory is now part of rbauction.com! That means more equipment to choose from in the same place you already search, and a new, more immediate way to buy it. Select listings are now available to purchase immediately at a set price, no bidding required. It’s not a replacement for the auction; it’s a second option, for when speed and price certainty matter most.

More equipment, one place to shop

Buy Now listings sourced from IronPlanet now appear right alongside rbauction.com’s auction inventory. It’s part of a run of recent rbauction.com site updates aimed at fewer steps between finding a machine and owning it.

You’re already searching a marketplace that moves 696K+ assets sold annually. Buy Now adds more of that inventory to the same search, with a second way to buy it.

Two ways to buy: auction or Buy Now

Every listing on rbauction.com still runs one of two ways. Bid on it at auction, where competitive bidding can land you a machine below what you’d pay elsewhere. Check out our top bidding strategies if that’s the route you’re taking. Or, if it’s marked Buy Now, pay the listed price and it’s yours.

Speed and price certainty when you’ve found the one

If a job starts Monday and you need the machine today, or you’ve found the one unit that fits and don’t want to risk losing it in the closing minutes of bidding, Buy Now settles it the moment you decide. No closing time to track. You pay the listed price and move on.

That certainty is the whole point. Buy Now trades the chance of a lower bid for knowing, right now, that the machine is yours.

Before you buy: budget and financing

If you’re financing the purchase, line that up before you buy rather than after. Ritchie Bros. Financial Services offers pre-approved financing, see how to apply for equipment financing, so you know what you can afford before you commit to a Buy Now price, not after.

Buy with the certainty you need

Buy Now doesn’t replace the auction . In fact, it gives you a second way to get equipment when timing matters more than chasing the lowest possible price. More inventory, more ways to buy it, still on the rbauction.com you already trust.
