Unreserved auction May 11 & 12
Borland Construction Inc. is one of the oldest and largest heavy construction companies in Manitoba. Family owned since its founding in 1919, Borland has been an integral provider of public and private infrastructure in Manitoba for over 100 years.
The company has played a key role in the development of Manitoba’s road, sewer, and water networks, by providing flood protection, servicing residential developments, building parking lots, paving city streets and highways, and reconstructing airport runways. They’ve been busy.
On May 11 and 12, Ritchie Bros. will sell Borland’s entire fleet of more than 1,600 heavy equipment items, trucks, and tools, including dozers, loaders, excavators, dump trucks, truck tractors, trailers, hundreds of shop items, and more. Every single item will be sold unreserved, without minimum bids or reserve prices.
Reach the right buyers
“We bought our equipment new and maintained it to OEM standards with both a fall and winter maintenance program to keep our items in peak working condition,” said Henry Borger, President of Borland Construction. “We think there will be a lot of interest across Canada and the globe for our assets and Ritchie Bros. has the network to reach the right buyers.”
The Borland auction in May will be conducted via Ritchie Bros. automated Timed Auction system, which has proven very efficient and powerful over the past couple of years. Register for free, place your bid and let the system do the work for you.
“We spoke with a number of disposition companies, but when we met with Ritchie Bros., they were so professional and we were all on the same wavelength on our goals,” added Mr. Borger. “We have a big operation, and no other auction company would be able to provide the resources and expertise necessary for us to be successful.”
