I have been in the retail for 17 years and spent last 7 year in Business Development for a different industry.
How did you get involved in this business?
My friend has been in the business for over 12 years, and it always interested me to see how it was growing. I also admired how passionate he was about his work and his customers.

Ken Holowecky, Territory Manager – Central Florida Key Accounts
What are the main cities/ areas you are covering?
Central Florida Key Accounts from Tampa to Daytona Beach.
What is your background?
I spent the last 16 years at one of the largest CASE IH agricultural dealerships in North America. I was responsible for all government sales and managed all Government Procurement Contracts for the dealership in Florida, as well as managed a fleet of tractors for the CASE IH FL University Alliance Leasing Program.
How did you get involved in this business?
After spending my childhood on a small farm and graduating from Ohio State University, I spent multiple years in the mortgage and finance industry. I always enjoyed sales, building relationships, and equipment, so it was great I was able to find an opportunity in the equipment business.
What is your key to being successful with customers in this industry?
Being able to build relationships with customers is critical. I want to be known as a trusted partner that the customer and the company can count on who genuinely wants to see them succeed rather than to be known as just another salesman trying to sell them something.

I am a creative, entrepreneurial, and focused marketing leader with over 37+ years of expertise gained through a progressive career path within sales and marketing management. I am a confident risk-taker with a pragmatic approach in delivery to drive results that maximize productivity and to strengthen customer retention.
How did you get involved in this business?
I was previously employed with Witzco Challenger Trailers, an OEM manufacturer of heavy haul trailers, as Director of Dealer Development for over 16 years. Ritchie Bros. happens to be one Witzco Trailers’ oldest clients of 37+ years. Over the course of my career with Witzco, I attended the auctions, various trade shows and belonged to some of the same organizations as Ritchie Bros. I made some great friendships and acquaintances throughout the years with many of the Ritchie Bros. team. I have always had a great interest for the heavy equipment auction industry. Always keeping in contact and my ears and eyes open, the opportunity had finally presented itself … and here I am.

The main cities I cover are Bradenton, Sarasota, and Venice. Scattered between these three are Palmetto and Lakewood Ranch. I also cover East to Myakka, Arcadia, and Wauchula.
What is your background?
I come from a background in Financial Services, most recently working as a Commercial Insurance Agent working with Contractors, Manufacturers, and similar industries. I look forward to continuing to learn and grow with this great company, allowing me to drive results for our customers.
How did you get involved in this business?
