After 24 years in business, North West Harvesting is preparing to sell a prime fleet Tigercat and Kenworth logging equipment
Among the 100+ pieces of North West Harvesting equipment selling in the upcoming Grande Prairie auction on Oct 5-7 is a fleet of late-model Kenworth tri-drive logging trucks and a lineup of Tigercat logging machines.
“We’ve have always focused on keeping good people, and one of the ways we did that was by keeping a fleet of the best maintained late-model equipment in the industry,” said company owner Herman Derksen.
North West Harvesting has been a customer with Ritchie Bros. since 2000 when they bought their first piece of gear a feller buncher at a Grande Prairie-based auction company called All Peace Auctions, which was later acquired by Ritchie Bros.
North West Harvesting went on to become an award-winning logging company with one of the best maintained fleets in the industry. Herman will be selling into a tight equipment market, with high demand for high-quality equipment.
The Grande Prairie auction will feature live bidding onsite and online bidding, giving buyers the best of both worlds. Onsite inspections will be available ahead of the event on Oct 5 to 7.
