Procurement software integration with Lowe’s
SmartEquip’s single login access to suppliers enables Lowe’s Tool Rental to implement a solitary, consistent process, for every brand of equipment, at every location. With one consistent workflow, the platform makes the process easy to train and even easier to use.
As part of the integration, repair technicians can order directly with manufacturers and preferred dealers of more than 50 brands of equipment, while simultaneously updating purchase orders and work orders. “SmartEquip provides immediate benefits to Lowe’s existing rental fleet and enables expansion into larger, more complex equipment,” said SmartEquip CEO Fernando Pinera. “Our solutions are built to streamline workflows, create efficiencies and integrate into your existing technology stack out of the box. European leader Loxam joins global SmartEquip Network
Europe’s largest equipment rental company, Loxam, has also been added to SmartEquip’s global equipment service and parts procurement network. In addition to supporting Loxam locations across France, where the solution is scheduled to go into its pilot testing phase in autumn, the platform is subsequently scheduled also to cover the company’s international business units in Belgium, Denmark, Germany, Ireland, the Netherlands, and Switzerland.

SmartEquip’s platform will connect suppliers directly with the parts and service workflow of Loxam’s individual locations, providing benefits to both sides. These suppliers will be able to provide real-time, equipment-specific service support at reduced effort and begin to receive electronic orders for parts and other items. Loxam, in turn, expects to benefit from service technician time savings, improved spare part procurement efficiencies, as well as increased equipment uptime.
