From Colombia to Saskatchewan: Agriculture equipment reaches buyers far and wide

Every Ritchie Bros. auction draws bidders far beyond the yard where the equipment sits. A machine can sell from a small-town lot and end up working a job hundreds or thousands of miles away. Here’s where four Spring 2026 pieces started, and where they ended up.

The takeaway

Two of these pieces stayed close to home, selling to buyers in the same region where the auction ran. Two crossed a border, one of them clear into South America. Every unreserved auction reaches the same online bidder pool, whether the winning bid comes from one province over or three time zones away.

Sellers get local timing and access to that same broad reach in one sale. This reach is a big part of why Ritchie Bros. sellers see predictable auction outcomes sale after sale.
