1977 Cessna T210M Turbo Centurion II Plane

The aircraft landed with its gear up causing a belly landing and propeller strike. SalvageSale marketed the damaged plane to our growing list of aviation buyers throughout North America, resulting in 1,200+ buyer inquiries, and 400+ bids before selling.

1978 Piper PA-31T Cheyenne II Plane

This aircraft was damaged while landing. It has been reported that the plane experienced a gear up landing and the propellers are damaged beyond repair. SalvageSale worked with our existing aviation buyer base resulting in 1,000+ pre-sale buyer inquiries.

Young Men and Women’s Clothing & Accessories

Inventory (14,500+ units) was impacted during the Fort MacMurray, AB wildfire, and was rejected due to a faint smoke odor. SalvageSale targeted interested bidders outside of Alberta, resulting in 900+ buyer inquiries before being sold.

Snowmobiles, ATVs, Utility Vehicles and Dirt Bikes

Snowmobiles, ATVs, Utility Vehicles and Dirt Bikes (59 units) suffered soot and smoke exposure due to the Fort McMurray, AB wildfire but were still fully operable. The units were cleaned, inspected, photographed, staged for sale at Ritchie Bros.’ Edmonton location, and were sold individually to achieve the best recovery. All units sold within 9 days.

Hot Dipped Galvanized Steel Coils

These coils sustained damage during transport. White rust was discovered upon receipt of shipment, believed to have been caused by condensation of airborne moisture during transit and the coils also sustained minor impact damage. SalvageSale contacted all their registered steel coil buyers and additionally a phone campaign was managed to contact new bidders as well, resulting in 1,400+ pre-sale buyer inquiries.

US Leaf Tobacco – Unprocessed Green Leaf Form

Approximately 2,617,853lbs of green leaf tobacco suffered smoke damage due to a warehouse fire. The insured received commentary that the product might have no value after the loss as it was deemed to be No Grade quality. SalvageSale engaged a tobacco industry expert to perform a site visit and capture additional information about the tobacco. SalvageSale worked with a number of tobacco buyers that had previously bid on similar losses, resulting in 500 buyer inquiries before selling.
