Spring agricultural auction season has begun

65+ online timed auctions across western Canada

As spring begins in Canada, so does our agricultural auction season, with more than 65+ retirement dispersal auctions in five weeks. More than 13,000+ agricultural equipment items are in our current auction inventory, including 700+ tractors, 550+ grain bins, 240+ headers, 200+ combines, 180+ grain trucks, 175+ cultivators, 115+ air drills, and more. Check out our Spring Ag pre-auction video with Luke Fritshaw, Director of sales as he highlights a few farm auctions, which type of equipment you can bid on and the benefits of our Online Timed Auctions.

“There is a ton going on right now in the ag world—we’re flat out,” said Luke Fritshaw, Director (Sales). “One auction I want highlight is a sale in northern Alberta, in Athabasca. It’s unique in the fact that there’s only 10 items selling—five combines, five headers. It shows that no matter how many assets you have, we can have an event for you.”

“We also have two really nice sales in the Pas, MB, with awesome equipment,” added Mr. Fritshaw “Plus dozens of other great auctions across Western Canada, with equipment and vehicles from all different types and sizes of farms—I encourage you to get online and start checking out the equipment inventory today!”

13,000+ agricultural items listed to be sold

With 65+ auctions, it’s hard to narrow down to a dozen highlights, let alone five, but here we go:

The benefits of online timed agricultural auctions

All our agricultural auctions are conducted via online timed auction, providing a number of benefits to both buyers and consignors.

“For our buyers, with timed auction, you know exactly what time an item is going to sell,” added Mr. Fritshaw. “You can bid up to five days prior to the auction closing, available 24 hours a day, so you can bid at a time that’s most convenient for you. Place a max bid and walk away or you can bid one increment at a time, whatever you want.”

Our online timed auctions are also helping to take some of the stress off our sellers.

“Hosting a live event or farm retirement dispersal, with hundreds of people in your yard—which in many cases are strangers—combined with the fact that they’re selling all of their assets in one day… it can be a very high stress environment,” said Mr. Fritshaw. “With our online timed auctions, sellers can sit in the comfort of their home with their wife or partner and watch privately or maybe they invite friends over for a party. Either way, we have found our seller day experience has really improved since going to all online auctions.”
