8,600+ bidders competed for 3,500+ items
Last week, we conducted our largest-ever online timed auction in Sacramento, CA, selling US$60+ million of equipment and vehicles for 400+ consignors. The two-day auction attracted 8,600+ online bidders from 47 countries to compete for 3,500+ items.
“With our hybrid auction method, customers can visit our physical sites to inspect equipment and ask questions, but all the bidding is done online,” said Guy Levinson, Regional Sales Manager. “In the two weeks leading up to the auction, our team welcomed thousands of interested buyers onsite in Sacramento to test and compare items—our yard was busy!”
“At the same, we attracted a ton of eyes online, with close to 200,000 online pageviews to our Sacramento website,” added Mr. Levinson.
Approximately 95% of the equipment in the March 22 – 23 Sacramento auction was sold to U.S. buyers, including 61% sold to buyers from California. The remaining 5% of the assets were sold to international buyers from as far away as Guatemala, China, and the Netherlands.

Close to 400 consignors sold equipment in the Sacramento auction, including A&E Arborists Tree Care, a California-based company specializing in residential and commercial tree service.

The auction featured a large selection of forestry and environmental equipment, as well as construction and transportation equipment. Highlights included 225+ truck tractors, 110+ excavators, 110+ aerial work platforms, 90+ chippers, 45+ backhoe loaders, and a lot more. Here are a few of the top sellers:
